This integration creates a seamless, two-way connection with the ISAAC supervisory platform and Poet Creator software. It connects Poet to a ISAAC external control —providing content scheduling, real-time visibility and data logging capabilities, while containing Poet as a submodule in the ISAAC ecosystem.
Project-Aware Synchronization: The module is fully context-aware. When you load or switch projects, it instantly notifies ISAAC, ensuring all data is correctly associated with the active project, as well as informing in which project Poet is currently running.
Live Scheduler State: ISAAC is always aware of the system's master state. The moment you start or stop the Poet scheduler, that status change will provide clear "ON" or "OFF" status for remote monitoring.
High-Fidelity Output Mirroring: Using ISAAC Variables, we create a real-time view of Poet control groups' outputs. Every Poet State drawn on your Outputs packages a Variable with name and override status:
Server health: The Poet server CPU usage is shown as a percentage in order to remotely recognize the conditions of the server.
Advanced Health Monitoring: The Composite Health Variable acts as a master "at-a-glance" status indicator for your entire system. Instead of forcing operators to interpret multiple data points, this smart variable uses a rule-based engine to provide a single, color-coded system health verdict:
🟢
Healthy & Active (Green): "ON: [Your Poet Project Name]"
Poet System connected, Poet scheduler running on specific project
🟡
Warning (Yellow): "Scheduler OFF"
Poet System online and healthy, but Poet scheduler not running
🔴
Error (Red): "Poet Unreachable"
Poet server offline or critical communication failure with ISAAC server
These can all be viewed in the Variables Tab, as they are happening in Poet server.
While the ISAAC Manager provides unparalleled data visibility, some situations require more than just telemetry. For deep diagnostics and direct intervention, on-demand remote access to the Poet machine's desktop via VNC is provided through the Control Panel of the Poet Module.
When logs and status variables indicate an anomaly requiring manual investigation, you can instantly connect to the machine's control screen. This is essential for deep troubleshooting, as it provides direct manual intervention and full system control, empowering operators and technicians. Secure VNC access complements data-driven insights from ISAAC, closing the loop on remote management.
This VNC access also allows for remote additions of content to your Poet project running on the premises, permitting fast-paced, smooth changes in the outputs and in the inputs.
